Community Involvement with the Drummondville Voltigeurs (QMJHL)
During the Voltigeurs' home games, the Patio Drummond team had the honor and pleasure of being present at the Voltigeurs' playoff tailgates. We would also like to congratulate our Voltigeurs on this memorable series and their qualification for the Memorial Cup! A huge thank you to all the volunteers who put their energy and passion into making these moments so special. We would like to give a special shout-out to three All-Stars from the Patio team: Michel D'assylvas, Nicolas Estadieu, and Eric-Robin Fortin, whose presence at every game added a spark to our tailgates. They were an extraordinary team and made sure we delivered the goods on the BBQ. And yes, Patio was responsible for cooking the hot dogs for the event! 🌭
An Exceptional Hockey Team
And what about the Voltigeurs' organization and openness! They managed to create a unique and unforgettable atmosphere at every game, attracting a crowd of passionate fans with a pre-game tailgate formula. A big bravo to the whole team for their dedication and creativity. 🚀 But this adventure doesn't stop there; if we had so much success and voluntary involvement, it's because we had a solution to give back. We are proud to highlight that these games were not only opportunities to celebrate and encourage hockey, but also to support causes that are important social drivers in the Drummondville community. Local organizations were present to raise awareness among the crowd and interact with the community on site, thus creating a truly positive synergy. These organizations also benefited from the proceeds raised from hot dog sales! And today, we are delighted to share with you the tangible results of this community involvement. Thanks to the great generosity of those present, we were able to raise funds to support these essential organizations!
