A donation of $30,000 for CPSC - Les Petits Bonheurs

On August 19th, Patio Drummond was the setting for a memorable evening where music, original costumes, and generosity came together for an exceptional cause. Initiated by Yvan Lemaire, president of Patio Drummond, and his friends Alain Guilbeault, Mario Lambert, André Hébert, and Sylvain Lemaire, this evening perfectly blended entertainment and charity.

An amount that will go a long way

The highlight of the event? A total of $31,074 was raised to support the mission of the Centre de Pédiatrie sociale (CPSC) – Les Petits Bonheurs . The Lemaire family will be eternally grateful for the support of such a strong and dedicated network. (Photo: Valérie Hébert) Geneviève Lemay, Executive Director of the CPSC , was present at the event. “This memorable evening, with such kind-hearted people, will allow us to support new children in social pediatrics and enhance professional services such as art therapy, psychoeducation, and occupational therapy.” Our ultimate goal is for every child experiencing vulnerability to reach their full potential by not only receiving care, but also the necessary tools and support to successfully transition into adulthood at 18. This gesture, initiated by the Lemaire family and their friends, of donating their evening to the cause of children in need, demonstrates just how much children are a community's greatest natural asset and how much they want it to be more equitable and healthy. It is an act of undeniable and immeasurable generosity.

A disco band and local partners

Featuring the renowned Boogie Wonder Band, the event, which had been in the works since 2022, was made all the more special by the collaboration of several local partners, including Eventec, Chapiteau Centre du Québec, IGA, Entre 2 TailGates, Génératrice Drummond, Justine St-Martin (TVA), Kimberly C. Traversy, and Alisson Lemaire. Dedicated volunteers and photographer Valérie Hébert also played a key role in the event's success. The Boogie Wonder Band electrified the stage with two 60-minute sets, while three roller girls added an extra touch of funk to the atmosphere. The event also included a disco photo booth , a silent auction, and special cocktails created by Martin Ruel's company, Distillerie 29 octobre. Alisson Lemaire, event organizer and HR Director at Patio Drummond, said: “We are incredibly fortunate to be surrounded by such kind-hearted people who want to be involved in initiatives like this. I sincerely thank all our partners for this truly magnificent event.” The Patio team is proud to make a difference in the Drummondville community by supporting CPSC – Les Petits Bonheurs. ❤️
