The small Patio convenience store: this year again, it's here to create little moments of happiness!

This month, we're sharing the moments when the Patio team came together to support the community, and how, during this holiday season, these actions take on even greater meaning. Our first article of the month talked about the Movember vibe at Patio. If you missed it, it's right here.

Today, we're bringing you an initiative that lasts all year long, one snack at a time, and which, this December, transforms into true little joys.

At Patio Drummond, we believe that small gestures can create big smiles. It's in this spirit that our reception area returns every year: a small in-house convenience store where everyone can contribute to causes that make a real difference. (It's also a little guilty pleasure... because even if we try to highlight healthy eating habits with different initiatives, you have to admit that a small bag of chips can sometimes save a day 😉.)

Throughout the year, items and small snacks are available for our employees. Everyone can help themselves by leaving a small $2, and all profits are donated to a chosen organization. Why do we say chosen? Well, every year we survey our people throughout the company to vote and choose an organization.

This year, it's Les Petits Bonheurs: Drummondville's Community Social Pediatrics Center.

It's an organization we know well and are committed to supporting, as it accompanies children aged 0 to 18 living in difficult circumstances, by providing them with access to the services they need, always in collaboration with their families and community.

On Tuesday, December 2, we were very happy to welcome Stéfany Duguay, Director of Philanthropy and Outreach for Les Petits Bonheurs, to present her with the amount raised: $511.

Next time, it will be our turn to visit Les Petits Bonheurs to introduce them to you… stay tuned!

It's still the season for holidays and good deeds, so we're not stopping there! See you next week for a new story.

Don't forget: here, we sincerely believe that we cannot grow without the community. We don't just pour concrete; we build bigger things: relationships, connections, an impact that evolves and develops with us. And that's exactly where our raison d'être comes from: to make concrete come alive.
